Managing Director, Stylus
Luisa Gui is the Managing Director of Stylus, an upcoming private club and acoustic salon opening in 2026 in the Lower East Side and dedicated to the ephemeral arts—performance, science, music, film, and food. A core member of the founding team since the ideation phase, Luisa directs Stylus’ operational and programmatic development and execution, ensuring the realization of the project's overarching vision.
Bringing 20 years of experience across the for-profit and non-profit sectors, Luisa served as an individual giving fundraiser, producer, and special event consultant, driving creative projects across the visual arts, film, performance, music, and education fields.
Her career includes permanent and consulting positions for reputable organizations such as Denniston Hill, an artist-led residency program in upstate New York; the Batonga Foundation, a girls' rights non-profit active in West Africa founded by Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Angélique Kidjo; AFS-USA, a global leader in intercultural learning and international exchange; and Performa, the internationally acclaimed NYC biennial dedicated to live interdisciplinary performance by visual artists.
About Stylus
Stylus is an acoustic salon for cultural exploration in the heart of the Lower East Side. Designed by award-winning O'Neill Rose Architects, Stylus combines world-class acoustic technology with intentional architectural design to create a sonic and experiential sanctuary. Performance and listening environments feature custom loudspeakers by Devon Turnbull (OJAS) and Friendly Pressure, as well as spatial audio and acoustic enhancement by Amadeus Acoustics. Members engage in focused listening, curated conversations, performances, film screenings, and wellness therapies, alongside dining experiences from Michelin-starred Culinary Director Anita Lo and a dynamic cohort of visiting chefs. Multipurpose spaces can be booked for private listening, recording, meetings, gatherings, podcasting and occasional overnight stays.
