The firm behind the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas pool complex and TMPL NYC launches a unified design through construction offering for boutique hospitality
NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL, August 2026. Aquatics International Group, the luxury aquatic design build firm behind the resort pool complex at the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas and the TMPL NYC aquatic wellness facility in Manhattan, announced the expansion of its Caribbean design build platform and the launch of its new digital home at aquaticsint.com.
Wellness has become a booking decision
The expansion responds to a shift the firm is seeing across boutique hospitality. Pools and wellness amenities have moved from supporting features to primary booking drivers, with guests choosing properties around cold plunge circuits, hydrotherapy, and photogenic water experiences. At the same time, delivering those amenities in the Caribbean remains one of the most technically demanding assignments in construction, with barge and ferry logistics, seismic and hurricane design criteria, and multi agency permitting including Coastal Zone Management review.

One contract from concept through commissioning
Aquatics International Group addresses that complexity by carrying every project under a single contract, from concept design and engineering through permitting, construction, and commissioning. Boutique owners and operators hold one agreement and one point of accountability rather than coordinating separate designers, engineers, and contractors across islands.
“Boutique properties are where the most interesting water experiences are happening right now,” said Chris Fogleman, Founder and President of Aquatics International Group. “These teams move fast and set a high bar for design, but they rarely carry in house technical staff. We built our model for exactly that client. We handle the engineering, the permitting, and the construction, and they get a pool that performs under pressure and photographs like art.”
A growing New York City wellness practice
In New York City, the firm’s wellness practice is expanding alongside demand for hotel and residential spa amenities. Recent and current work spans aquatic wellness construction, cold plunge installation, hydrotherapy circuits, saunas, and spa pool projects in Manhattan high rise buildings, where union labor, tight clearances, and building logistics demand a specialized contractor. The TMPL NYC facility remains a reference point for luxury wellness amenities in the city, and the firm continues to serve hotels, developers, and private clients across New York.
Credentials across the Caribbean and New York
The firm brings more than twenty five years of aquatic construction experience and over fifteen industry honors, including multiple APSP Best in Show awards, eleven Gold Medals, and two Pebble Tec World’s Greatest Pools distinctions. Caribbean Journal recently described the company as arguably the hottest pool company in the region. Active markets include the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Barths, the wider Caribbean, South Florida, and New York City, with a growing wellness practice covering cold plunge systems, saunas, hydrotherapy circuits, and contrast therapy environments for hotels and private clients.
Aquatics International Group is a Premier Vendor Partner of the Boutique Lifestyle Leaders Association and holds Society of Watershape Designers certification and Certified Pool Operator credentials.
Boutique hoteliers planning a new build, a repositioning, or a wellness expansion can view the firm’s portfolio and connect with the team at aquaticsint.com.
