CEO, Aethos Hotels
Benjamin is the Founder and Managing Partner of Limestone Capital, a private investment firm dedicated to alternative investments in special situations, real estate and private equity. As the CEO of Aethos Hotels, he also leads the product, design and international expansion of this disruptive tech-enabled hotel management platform, which currently manages and develops seven hotels and clubs across European destinations such as Milan, Lisbon, and Corsica. As the first investor in Emerald Stay, Europe’s leading luxury home rental platform, he also serves on its board of directors and supports the founding team in the company’s rapid growth. Benjamin started his career serving as a portfolio manager for a Copenhagen-based venture capitalist while finishing his business administration degree at Copenhagen Business School. He quickly left for Silicon Valley, where he was selected to join Google’s Product Marketing Management program where he had the chance to lead strategic product marketing initiatives for Google Search and Android, bringing products to market on a global scale early in his career. Following, he served as Chief of Staff to Marissa Mayer, helping to run the global Google Maps organization. In 2012, Benjamin founded Voyat, a hospitality technology startup that became the leading E-Commerce optimization software in hospitality serving brands such as Four Seasons, Sydell Group and Highgate Hotels among many others, and led the firm to its successful exit to Intent Media Inc in 2016. Benjamin served as Non-Executive Board Member at Mövenpick Hotels until it’s successful acquisition by Accor Group, and advises a variety of startups in Europe and USA.
