MONTAUK, NY – June 18, 2025RUSCHMEYERS is a 19-cabin retreat nestled on the northwestern edge of Fort Pond, in the heart of Montauk – open for connection in every sense. Once a historic fish camp, Boutique hotelier Bridgeton [Marram MontaukJourney East Hampton] has reimagined RUSCHMEYERS as a sanctuary for creative restoration and shared experience. Guest rooms evoke artist bungalows – Parachute linens, Bauhaus-style tubular steel loungers, Isamu Noguchi lanterns, Donald Judd-inspired desks, and ceilings drenched in vibrant green. The effect is tactile, lived-in, and creative. A space that invites connection, not just retreat. Montauk soul meets minimalist craft. At the heart of the property, the expansive lawn – dotted with fire pits and shaded by trees – is a communal haven for conversation, relaxation, and those effortless summer moments that turn strangers into friends.

Helmed by Chef Jordan Heissenberger [Buvette, Walter’s, Rucola, Apollonia], The Grill at RUSCHMEYERS brings people together over bold coastal flavors and summer grill favorites – think seafood towers, charred lamb ribs, grilled lobster, and fresh vegetables kissed by fire. As the sun sets, The Lounge at RUSCHMEYERS picks up the rhythm. Curated by the team from GOSPËL, it brings bold energy, inventive drinks, and a soundtrack to carry the night.
