Portsmouth, New Hampshire Lark, the premium development and management company encompassing multiple boutique hospitality brands, announces today the onboarding of three senior leaders: Michael Albert (Senior Director of Technology), Chamesha Beniefield (Director of Marketing), and Jesse Souza (Director of Restaurants and Bars). This news follows the recent appointment of Lynsey Kreitzer as Lark’s Executive Vice President of Commercial Strategy – a long anticipated new role for the company.

Michael Albert, Lark’s new Senior Director of Technology, has more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, and has expertise in digital marketing, channel strategy, CRM, and website optimization. Having spent nearly 15 years with Ace Hotel Group where he was most recently Director of Digital Strategy, he brings a unique perspective on independent hotels to his technology role.

An Atlanta, Georgia native with over ten years of brand marketing experience across several industries including hospitality, food and beverage, and lifestyle brands, Chamesha Beniefield joins Lark as Director of Marketing. In this role she leads brand strategy, creative development, and go-to-market execution for Lark’s boutique hotels. She joins Lark following a more than four year tenure as Integrated Brand Marketing Manager for IHG Hotels & Resorts. There she oversaw the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels.

Lark brings Jesse Souza on as Director of Restaurants and Bars, a role where his more than 25 years of hospitality experience will allow him to oversee Lark’s diverse portfolio of eateries, which range from an 85-seat rooftop restaurant and bar in Salem, Massachusetts, to a multiple-concept indoor and outdoor beach bar on Block Island. His most recent role was Task Force Executive Chef for Noble House Hotels & Resorts.

In 2026 alone, Lark will welcome four properties to its signature Lark Hotels collection: Cambridge Common House (Cambridge, Massachusetts), The Penny Lane (Hampton Bays, New York), The Drew Hotel (Plymouth, Massachusetts), and Shore Haven (Falmouth, Massachusetts). Several hotels will be added to Lark’s portfolio of independent hotels under management as well.
