Reimagining One of America’s Great Estates Built in 1912, Pendry Natirar Opens in New Jersey’s Enchanting Countryside of Somerset County.
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIF. (October 25, 2024) – Pendry Hotels & Resorts today announced the opening of Pendry Natirar, located on a sprawling 500-acre estate in New Jersey’s Somerset County. Just 45 minutes outside of Manhattan, the resort is centered around a restored 1912 Tudor-style mansion and features 66 guestrooms, including 20 suites.
A stately escape, guests will enjoy a range of luxury amenities, including a signature farm-to-table restaurant and cooking school, Ninety Acres; Ladd’s Tavern; Spa Pendry and fitness center; on-site The Farm at Natirar; Compass Sports; Paintbox Children’s Program; 13,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space; and The Natirar Club, an exclusive modern members club. Pendry Natirar will also feature 24 Pendry Residences, offering both Estate and Farm Villa options.

Designed by CosciaMoos Architecture with interiors by DesignAgency, Pendry Natirar draws inspiration from the picturesque estate and the traditions of England’s grand country manor homes, reinterpreted with a modern sensibility. The Tudor mansion’s historic charm was preserved through original limestone foyers, stone fireplaces, ornate plaster ceilings, warm wood paneling, and oak flooring—all enhanced by contemporary materials, elegant finishes, art, and lighting.
Ninety Acres – Pendry Natirar’s signature fine dining restaurant presents a relaxed yet refined take on chef-driven menus, inspired by the estate’s sustainable farm. Seasonal fruits and vegetables are brought to the table with passion and culinary precision.
Ladd’s Tavern – The culinary centerpiece of the resort, Ladd’s offers a classic, all-day menu inspired by countryside cooking. Adjacent to the Great Room, the space features cocktails, light bites, and afternoon tea.
The Cooking School – Guests can immerse themselves in Pendry Natirar’s farm-inspired lifestyle with hands-on classes led by local chefs using fresh farm ingredients and locally sourced products.
The Farm at Natirar – A working farm that supplies fresh produce for the restaurants and offers immersive experiences such as farm tours, bee tours, and honey tastings at the on-site apiary.
Spa Pendry – Spanning 19,000 square feet across two floors, the spa includes a tranquility lounge with an indoor plunge pool, Himalayan salt room, and 12 treatment rooms—many with private terraces overlooking the countryside.
Compass Sports – Located within over 500 acres of parkland, Compass Sports offers guided e-bike tours, archery, axe throwing, riverside hikes, fly-fishing, and horseback trail rides.
Paintbox – Pendry’s signature children’s program for ages 5 to 12 includes farm visits, painting sessions, scavenger hunts, safe archery, and more.
