Glyn Aeppel

Glyn Aeppel is the Founder, President, and CEO of Glencove Capital, a boutique and lifestyle hospitality investment and advisory firm. Glencove is among the few woman-owned and operated hospitality investment firms in the United States.

Since its founding in 2010, Glencove Capital has invested in a range of hotel and restaurant ventures, partnering with high-net-worth individuals and developers. Most recently, Glencove launched a lifestyle hospitality investment platform, with its first investment in the European brand MOB HOTEL-OF-THE-PEOPLE, headquartered in Paris.

Aeppel brings decades of experience as a senior executive in the hospitality industry, having raised capital and led investments for global corporations including Marriott, Interstate Hotels, Le Meridien, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and Loews Hotels. Prior to founding Glencove, she served as Partner and Chief Investment Officer at André Balazs Properties.

In addition to leading Glencove, Aeppel serves on the boards of several prominent organizations, including Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG), AvalonBay Communities (NYSE: AVB), Maui Land and Pineapple Company (NYSE: MLP), Exclusive Resorts, Gilbane, Inc., and Concord Hospitality Enterprises.

She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA Honors from Principia College. Born in South Africa, Aeppel has lived and worked across Europe, Bermuda, and the United States.
