Rachel Alday
Co-founder, Abode Luxury Rentals
Rachel Alday is a hospitality entrepreneur, author, and co-founder of Abode Luxury Rentals, an aspirational luxury brand built on the belief that elevated service and genuine warmth can, and should, coexist. After beginning her career in corporate marketing in Chicago, she moved west to Park City, where she and her husband, Rob Alday, founded Abode in 2008 during one of the most uncertain economic periods in recent history. While much of the industry contracted, they leaned in.
What began as a bold recession-era startup has grown into a multi-market luxury hospitality company with more than 50 employees, known for thoughtfully curated homes, highly personalized guest experiences, and transparent, trust-based homeowner partnerships. Rachel has built Abode with intention, choosing long-term relationships over rapid scale and stewardship over shortcuts.
She is the author of Please Do Disturb (forthcoming Fall 2026), a book that reimagines leadership through the principles of care, presence, and healthy boundaries. Through speaking engagements and workshops, she explores how hospitality can serve as a powerful and human framework for leading teams and building enduring businesses.
Rachel lives in Park City with Rob and their three children, where she continues to blend ambition with community and luxury with heart.
