Jayson Seidman

Jayson Seidman is the Founder and Principal Managing Partner of Sandstone, along with its affiliates Drifter Hotels and The Basic®. He founded Sandstone in 2007 and has built it into a leader in boutique real estate hospitality development, with properties across Texas, New York, New Orleans, Costa Rica, and Australia.

Before Sandstone, Jayson spent years at Goldman Sachs, LNR Property (now Starwood Capital), and Credit Suisse, and most recently served as Head of Development for SHVO in New York. That background gave him deep expertise in hotel finance, acquisitions, ground-up development and repositioning, design, and capital structuring for complex real estate transactions.

His portfolio includes three New Orleans hotels — The Columns, The Drifter, and Hotel Saint Vincent — along with four Texas properties: the East Austin Hotel, The Thunderbird Marfa, The Basic Marfa, and the Ranch Motel in San Antonio.
