About This Event
The original conference dedicated to independent, boutique hotel ownership, leadership & innovation since 2012.
This years theme The Age of Wonder
The best hoteliers are collectors of small astonishments. The way light hits a market stall in Oaxaca. A stranger's perfume on a train. The specific quiet of a monastery at 6am. They notice things other people walk past, and then, somehow, those things end up in a lobby, a scent, a breakfast menu, a reason a guest can't quite explain why they never want to leave. This year's conference is about that transfer. Where wonder actually comes from, and how it moves from a person's own life into the rooms they build for other people. We want to know what a hotelier does on a Tuesday off. What book is on their nightstand. Which flea market they can't stay away from, which hike they take when they need to think, which meal stopped them mid-bite last year. Because the properties with real magic in them are rarely designed from a brief. They're designed from a life. The Age of Wonder is a room full of people who still get curious about the world, and who've figured out how to build that curiosity into square footage. Expect conversations less about occupancy and more about obsession. Less about brand pillars, more about the specific, slightly strange things that make someone fall in love with a place. Come with your own everyday wonder. Leave with a better sense of how to build it into your next property.
What you notice becomes what you build.

Instead of formal programming, each table will include thoughtfully crafted question cards designed to open up meaningful, personal dialogue among guests.
This is a moment to go beyond titles and transactions—to share stories, laugh, and connect as humans first. Dinner & Open Mic Night
An evening to celebrate the heart of hospitality—with laughter, music, and a mic that’s open to all. Over a candlelit dinner, the community comes together not just to dine, but to express. Step up to the mic and share whatever moves you: your hotel origin story, a bold manifesto, a favorite poem, a song you’ve written (or just love), or a few words on why you’re in this wild, beautiful industry. No scripts. No slides. Just soul.
And because boutique hospitality is never boring, the night also brings a playful twist: a British-style pub quiz to keep things lively. Expect unexpected trivia, cheeky team banter, and spontaneous moments that build new bonds. Whether you come to share, sing, play, or just cheer everyone on—this is our communal exhale. A space for joy, storytelling, and the kind of fun that reminds us why we’re here.

Breakfast & Mindful Mornings
Start your day in quiet clarity with a nourishing breakfast and intentional self-reflection. Choose from guided journaling prompts at communal tables, join a small hotelier’s circle for conscious dialogue, or simply enjoy stillness among peers. This soft opening cultivates grounded presence before a day of rigorous thought and connection.
The setting invites you to drop in—not just log on. Whether you’re sketching ideas in the margins of a notebook or engaged in a personal exchange that becomes a turning point, this morning ritual reminds us that insight emerges in moments of stillness as much as in structured panels.
