Nicholas Oertli

I am the Founder and Managing Partner of The Marella Group, a tenant representation and brand advisory firm rooted in Los Angeles and New York. We partner with luxury retail, hospitality, and lifestyle brands to secure flagship locations and create spaces that become part of the cultural fabric.

I began my career on the landlord side of the business where I handled acquisitions, leasing, and asset management for private equity groups. That experience taught me how deals are structured from the inside out. Today I use that perspective to help brands negotiate smarter, grow faster, and build lasting value.

At The Marella Group we do more than place tenants. We combine real estate strategy with social media and storytelling to amplify presence, ensuring our clients gain not just a lease but a platform that resonates culturally. Our work spans boutique cafés, boutique hotels, and global lifestyle brands that are shaping the next wave of experiences in Los Angeles, Malibu, New York, and beyond.

Outside of work I’m inspired by design, wellness, and travel. Whether discovering new concepts, surfing in Malibu, sharing a Negroni, or spending time with my wife Carolena, I believe in living fully and approaching everything with passion and intention.
